The results are in for the first ever Another Day in Paradise Best of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo Reader’s Choice Awards.

And let me just say, some of you have some pretty strange ideas, but for the most part your opinions were pretty consistent, sometimes overwhelmingly so…
**NB: Some of you think that the best beach in Ixtapa – Zihuatanejo means you can put your favorite California beach, and we’re not taking it the wrong way we know you didn’t mean to snub, we know the beaches up there couldn’t possibly be more beautiful than ours…we’re just thinking you don’t follow directions well. And some of you think you yourselves are the most romantic things in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and well, who are we to disagree, and I’m not even going to go into all the creative activities you guys wanted to vote for. We’ll stick with the safe to say, and hammocks seem very popular. As for dancing, some of you are dancing in places we wouldn’t really recommend dancing in, but if your “feets wanna dance”, far be it for us to spoil your fun … just be careful and watch for cars.
So until next year, here’s you, the reader’s, choices for the best of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and now you have a whole ‘nother year to get out there and research new choices. So without further ado, here’s what you like:
