IT TAKES A VILLAGE
This past month’s multi-Beach Clean Up was a huge success as there were so many caring and concerned people participating in keeping this part of Paradise beautiful. On La Madera alone, they cleaned the beach then took to the streets. Besides having a number of local La Madera residences and business owners out there, a number of tourists also took time away from playcationing to pitch in and help. Dee Dee Nelson took on the chore of handing out bags on her last morning in Z and in getting a number of others staying at the Hotel Irma to buy SOS Bahia T-shirts and to go out and collect trash, kudos also to Mark Kuglitsch for cleaning up a huge area, Tony Hodge who donated much needed bags, owners of M.J. & Richies and La Casa Cafe for being the starting points, Mary Rushing for doing such a large part, and especially to Jim Dellecker and everyone who participated in all areas.
