In addition to some grant funding from Rotary International, over $3,000 was raised at a Zihua community fundraiser at Villa Del Sol Cantina on Feb 28 and March 1, 2002. Almost 30 “cruisers” from the sailboating community pitched in with local families and other tourists to help clean the new school campus in February, too. The entire project is becoming a great source of pride for all involved.
